One:
Damn that Netflix for making the purchase of used dvds so easy. I used to be all anti-used but now I am pro-used and diggin’ on getting discs cheap. Like you can get “Volver” for $5.99 when still it costs $19.99 new in the store. At that rate, you could get three discs for the price of one!

Two:
Tomorrow is the annual big, drunken 4th of July Cookout at my place. Mom first started the tradition way back when. So then she forsook us for the wilds of the Pacific Northwest and the duties became mine. It sounds like there are gonna be more people at my place than you can shake a grilled hot dog at. Which means there’s gonna be tons of food and tons of booze. Whoo! So, this boy has a lot of meat, dogs and buns to buy. Plus, I have to get the house in some shape of clean before everyone comes over and dirties it up tomorrow. Viva la Holiday Party!

Three:
We are just a little over a month from the auditions for “Cabaret.” All of the creative team is set and in place. Now I just need to get a good cast and we can rock our way on to the September 28th Opening Night. It’s gonna be interesting to do a show that runs four weekends instead of the usual three weekends.

Four:
For those of you who know my humble ‘lil town … you might be interested to know that it appears that O’Malley’s (the local faux Irish Pub) is on it’s way out of business. As of last night there was a sign in the window saying “Temporarily Closed … Under New Management.” I guess we will just have to wait and see if they actually re-open.
