Pre-Travel Day

Gosh. I really do hate traveling … especially when you take time off work to do it. All those pesky small projects that suddenly become an urgent priority. Then there is the zaniness of packing and all that crap. Fun!

01. Finish up several important work projects.
02. Print out Boarding Pass/Travel Documents.
03. Set up travel voicemail.
04. Wash dirty socks and undies.
05. Pack the backpack.
06. Remember to pack leather and jocks.
07. Remember to pack cool new Threadless shirt.
08. Then fret over what else to take/not take.
09. Obsess about all sorts of Potential Air Travel Disasters.
10. Charge camera battery and pack extra lens.
11. Call Brett and set up Lunch in NYC.
12. Obsess some more about Potential Air Travel Disasters.
13. Obsess even more about Potential Air Travel Disasters.

An Open Letter

Chris Evans!
Chris Evans!
Chris Evans!
Chris Evans!

Dear Mr. Evans,

It’s been a while since I have written you because you’ve been laying low. I haven’t seen you in any movies lately though I do know that you have a big one opening next week. Maybe that’s where you have been … off hitting the gym everyday to buff up your already perfect body for the reprise of the role of Johnny Storm. In fact, you are the only reason I will plunk down my hard earned cash to see “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.” I am sure that your shirtless scene(s) and overall charm will elevate the movie to being a wee bit more than total trash.

As always, if you need a break from all the zaniness of Hollywood stardom, you are more than welcome to drop by my mountain retreat anytime you want to. I promise that your stay would be most enjoyable!

Lust-ily yours,
Chas.

Excited!

I met up last night with Beth who is gonna choreograph “Cabaret” for me this fall. It was a meeting about the basics … what the set is gonna look like, how many songs does she have to worry about, etc. I am really excited because we seem to be on the same page about a lot of thing and I think she is gonna bring some cool ideas to the table. We went ahead and made some executive decisions about certain things and the music director is just gonna have to live with it. I have been trying to nail him down for a month and haven’t been able to schedule a meeting with him … yet.

Excited!

Bummed!

Lost: The Complete Third Season
It’s official and I am officially bummed. “Lost: The Complete Third Season” will not hit stores until December 11th this year (unlike the first two season which had August street dates). Since the start of Season Four won’t hit until January of 2008 they have pushed the release of Season Three back four months to generate the most buzz for the new season. I think I can wait that long … I think I can wait that long … I think I can wait that long …

Bummed!
