I love movies … obviously. But I really wouldn’t give two cents for the the Oscars any more (or the Golden Globes or any those other “critics” awards either). The nominations were announced this morning and it’s the same old shite up for the award. See … politics just isn’t for … well, politics. It’s used for Oscars, Emmys, Grammys and all sorts of other things. Do yourself a favor. Rent some of your favorite films from last year and watch them on February 29th instead of the award ceremony that’s boring and last ten freakin’ hours. Better yet … invite a few friends over and have them bring their favorite film to share with eveyone else. It’ll be more fun. Trust me.
