Thank you for coming to City Lights and sitting through something you’ve already sat through at another signing *laugh* — I appreciate your friendship! *hugs* … a light turnout, but for some reason I enjoyed yesterday’s ‘event’ more than most anyone I had (other than that first one at Osondu’s when my first book came out and I was so excited and we had food and friends and fun!).
People came in after it was over – I think people just don’t like to get “stuck” in those things or feel they “have” to buy a book – I know I was the same way before mine came out. Who wants to listen to some old author blah blah blah then all the awkward if you don’t want to buy their book? Not me *laughing*
