So, I took a break from planning evil, world domination and worshiped at the altar of Concrete Blonde last night. It was quite possibly the best show that I have ever seen. Johnette Napolitano and company took the stage with major vengance. The band’s songs has always veered from mid 80’s punk to latin tinged ballads … though last night you couldn’t tell the difference. Every song had a raw edge like a wound that was open and would never, ever heal. Johnette has to be the sexiest female performer I have ever seen live.
