I know I am gonna get smacked for saying this, but … “Speed Racer” totally rocked!!! I am not saying this just ’cause the cute Emile Hirsch is in it either. The plot is solid and not totally stupid like some kid oriented films can be. The acting is totally solid ’cause the cast is a pretty awesome ensemble of folks. Kids will love this film (especially the boys) and it’s good enough that I think most adults will like it too. Plus … the movie looks utterly spectacular on Blu-ray. “Speed Racer” is mindless movie eye candy of the highest order!
I’m having a flashback to a time when another of my good friends justified his interest in a questionable flick.
You know, “George of the Jungle” was a really good film……
Pffffffffffffft!!! I’ll have know that there is no shirtless-ness or any such naughtiness in “Speed Racer!”

even i loved the movie …though the reviews were mixed..
the entire plot + the cars were amazing ..
infact the DVD of the movie has just been released..
Looking forward to get my copy.
