Just wondering: Why is it that locals (at least the ones I know, theater-types included) run down the local paper on a consistent basis as bad and badly written (which it is), but then pull up the paper’s half-baked reviews as evidence of the success of their shows?
As a “local theater type” I look for a review that actually reviews the show – the music, the acting, the set, the story and on the rare occasion the director. Doesn’t matter if they liked the show so much as they actually paid attention.
YEAH!
Congrats!
Woo hoo!
Yeee hawwwwwww~
