  1. really? I find facebook far more limiting than myspace. it’s like Beta vs VHS, or Mac vs PC…. oh, wait… never mind, I get it now.

  2. I like the clean interface that you can’t mess with too much. MySpace is a nightmare of badly designed pages, etc. So, yeah … it is kind of like Mac vs. PC.

  3. shortlegs says:

I LOVE FACEBOOK! (even when your friend draws something evil like a clown on it)!

  4. I think I’m with Jeff…I have a MySpace and a Facebook, and prefer MySpace because, well, I don’t know. It sure as hell isn’t over ownership, but I must say that I had a MySpace account before they sold to Murdoch. I had a Friendster account, and didn’t really like it at all.

  5. Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t you the one who called Myspace a “trailer park of design.” I’m still jealous I didn’t think of that first.

  6. I think I called it “the trailer park of the internet”, if I recall correctly.
I’m too lazy to look it up, though.
I’m just not quite sold on Facebook…don’t know why. I use it, but not very often. Maybe it’s the non-trailer park aspect of it.

Like Neil Young said…riding in the ditch is a lot rougher of a ride, but it’s a lot more interesting than in the middle of the road.

  7. Facebook seems to be just too much of an intentional snootier version of myspace for those who don’t want to admitt to using myspace for fear of being seen as either a teen stalker or a trend follower (god forbid). So along comes Facebook to pretend to be the more mature, more adult version. Yawn.
Sure, people trick out their myspace pages to excess, but it is still easy to use and a lot more user friendly than Facebook is as of yet.
