Ramble

Thank the Gods it’s Friday. Hard to believe that half of May is almost gone already. Where does the time go?

Oh! Movies, DVDs and Porno … that’s where the time goes.

My copy of the Canadian Special Edition of David Cronenberg’s “eXistenZ” arrived yesterday. Whoo! I loves me a special edition with a Cronenberg audio commentary. Oh, hell. I just love David Cronenberg. Period.

Lordy, I dread seeing my credit card statement next month.

BJ mailed me with some exciting news! Folsom Street East will be going on when I jet to NYC next month. Hot! Scott and BJ had better get their leather ready. I gotta remember to pack mine.

I still have 7 more films to go to have the “Viva Pedro” collection watched. I have been really lax about that this week what with 3 films arriving from Netflix as well. I have watched “Color Me Blood Red,” “The Gore Gore Girls” and need to hit “Munich” tomorrow.

Remember: Go buy “Volta” (the new Bjork album)!

I am nothing if not eclectic. Yup.

yeah, my dvd addiction keeps on going too… i just received my copy of “the films of alajandro jodowosky”, and “blood feast”, “the amazing transplant”, and “she devils on wheels” are on their way. (glad to see you’ve been going through a bit of a herschell gordon lewis phase yourself, chas). also, “alice, sweet alice”, “session 9”, “pretty poison” and “let sleeping corpses lie” arrived recently. i’ve promised myself that i’ll take a break after “pan’s labyrinth” comes out next week. hope i can stick to that promise. ya know, instead of buying all these dvds, i really should be digging myself out of the massive debt i accumulated 4 years ago by quitting my job and touring around asia for 6 months with my boyfriend… oh what the hell…

  2. Oh, hey. I watched “Blood Feast” last week! The acting in that movie so so bad and so much fun.

You’ll have to let me know how you like “Session 9.” I really dug it.

As for promising to quit … heh. Good luck! I promised I was gonna stop after “Twin Peaks: The Second Season” came out at the beginning of April. It didn’t happen and I have a trip to NYC I have to finance somehow. Cheers!
