Yes. Yet another remake of a classic horror film is upon us. I really dig the original 1974 “Black Christmas” that Bob Clark directed. About the only thing that makes this remake look interesting is that it’s written and directed by Glen Morgan … of Morgan and Wong fame.
i dunno about this. i’m a fan of the original and i hear the new version expands on billy’s backstory. totally unneccessary, and possibly a deal-breaker. one of the reasons the original is so creepy to me is that we only get glimpses of billy. the original gives the audience credit for having enough brains to take little pieces of infomation we get about him to create a bit of a back story on our own. i think it’s time hollywood stopped remaking good movies.
