So, the weekend that I have more things to do that I could even think about … I got sick. Came down with some sorta of stomach bug that made Friday, Saturday and Sunday unpleasant. Aches, chills, sweats, nauseous feeling … though I never did throw up. Bummer. I was feeling better enough by Sunday morning to go out with Christy into the woods for my “beefcake” shot for the calendar that is in the works. We went to this really cool spot just off Hwy. 215 North. A short hike from the car and you end up at two huge cascade and waterfall at Sam Branch/Wash Hollow. We spent some time exploring for the best photo spot and then got down to business.

We decided the best spot would be here at the base of the cascade on Sam Branch.

This cascade goes on up the mountain for as far as the eye can see. The trail crosses Sam Branch above this lower section and continues on up the mountain … I guess to the very top of the cascade. I can’t wait until I have a free Saturday to go back and explore some more. This is one of those really cool spots that I feel ashamed that I didn’t know about until now.

You know … make you wait for it. Build the anticipation and all that jazz. Some of the “test” shots we did will appear before the nudie shoots. Yeah. I am a tease (at least in this case.)
