Whew. Been a whirlwind few days here in NYC so far. It’s now raining and looks to do that for the next few days. I’ll have fun anyway! Been out shopping and sight seeing and theatering and drinking. Yup.
Saw “Doubt” on Thursday night (“Inishmore” wasn’t up on the TKTS Board) and it was quite incredible. Eileen Atkins rocks the house in that show. I wish I had even a quarter of that kind of acting talent.
Saw “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” last night and it was fucking incredible. If you are in NYC and like dark and creative musical theater you should really check it out.

Did you see SWEENEY with Patti Lupone, or was Judy Kaye still subbing? I thought Patti was incredible, but I would have loved to see Judy Kaye take the role on also…
