My grandmother is back in the hospital. She was out at her mailbox on Monday and the stick she was using as her “cane” snapped … sending her tumbling to the ground. She broke her wrist pretty badly. Last yesterday evening surgery was performed to fix the break … so now Grandma has a plate and some pins where her wrist and hand join together. I imagine she’s now gonna have fun with metal detectors if/when she travels. According to what the doc says, she will be released tomorrow.
