Yes, yes. I just know that you all are drooling for date details.

We met up at ye ole Mellow Mushroom over in Asheville for lunch. Quite a nice time was had. He ordered a small “Mighty Meaty” pizza (ah, he likes meat products!) and I had a Jerk Chicken calzone (mmmm, spiced chicken). While munching food and chatting, we were both total dorks and showed off our Mac laptops and talked design programs and fonts and music and such. After lunch (and a flat tire change), we cruised in his Mini Cooper on the Blue Ridge Parkway while Billie Holiday issued from the radio. Coolness. Looks like there might be “Date No. Two” sometime in the near furture.

Sorry, there ain’t no photos as it seemed a little weird to start snapping pictures on the first date. Maybe next time.
