So, I am back after having been gone for a few days. It was good trip but totally exhausting as I was on the go sightseeing and stuff the entire time. That plus the 13+ (round trip) hours in the Jeep makes for one tired Chas. Some photos will pop in in the next couple of days as I shot over 400 pictures in two days. One thing I did discover is that I want a bigger lens for the ole Digital Rebel XT. Where’s a “sugar daddy” when you need one?

I also discovered over the last few days that long-distance driving makes me a nervous wreck. It really does. Interstate driving is now like being on a race track … people whizzing by at 100 miles an hour … nobody observing any sort of safe following distance … everyone running right up on your bumper and passsing at the last second and then cutting right back in front of you. I am amazed that there just aren’t more accidents and major pile-ups on our interstate system. There doesn’t seem to be any room for us folks that observe a sane traveling speed and actually try and follow common sense rules of the road.
