Yetserday, I went out to dinner with the fabulous Michelle and a few others from the OITM group. I really should have stayed home and nursed my cold … but life is too short. Right? It was a really nice time. We ate at The Lucky Otter (on Haywood Road in A-ville) which is a Pseudo-Mexican place. It was good food with some fun folks. People watching was fun there too. Sitting behind us was a cute bearded fella, a frat guy and a sorority girl. Frat Guy and Sorority Girl were all chatty with each other the whole time we were there. Meanwhile, Cute Bearded Fella is looking a little morose and doesn’t say hardly two words to either one of them. I couldn’t help but wonder if he was out of it ’cause he had the hots for Sorority Girl and she was too busy paying attention to Frat Guy … or maybe he had a thing for Frat Guy and was upset ’cause Frat Guy was all about Sorority Girl. In reality it was probably neither and was something far more boring. Afterward we went to a fella named Jeff’s house and had dessert and after-dinner drinks. Jeff seemed like a really cool and interesting fellow … so hopefully we’ll see him again sometime down the road.

Today has been the ususal work stuff. The highlight of my day was installing a DSL wireless router/modem at the print shop. Let the good times roll! Still battling the cold which has now moved to my chest. “Hack and Cough” has taken up most of the afternoon.

Tomorrow, I will be over in A-ville for part of the day for a Studio Stroll in the River District with Franke. Then it’s probably gonna be time to get some more rest in the evening. I have (what promises to be über crappy) “Mindhunters” all ready to watch. Yeah, I know … but the scrumptious Jonny Lee Miller is in it and that’s all that matters.
