Yeah. It’s always fun when you come home late on a Saturday night to the water heater emitting a very loud hissing noise. After some checking, the rommie and I decided it was best to shut off the water to the house just to make sure there were no “surprises” late in the night. So, Sunday morning I was up bright and squirrely to go and purchase a new water heater. The rommie helped me get the old on drained and outside. And he helped me muscle the new one in and get it wired up. Then I got the fun of cutter and cementing new pipes into place. It was so much fun, lemme tellya. So, now I have a spankingly new water heater that I can proudly say I installed myself (for the most part) … and my house is all redneck now with the old water heater sitting out on the deck for all the neighbors to see. I guess you know what I will be doing the coming Saturday. Material Reclamation Center, here I come!

In Tucson we have to follow code when you put in water heaters, so the plumbers have to do it. Not hot guys like you.
