Yep. Two days until I go get inked. The anticipation is starting to get to me. How painful will it be? How long will I be in the chair? Will it turn out as good as I want it to? Healing time? Blood? Pain? Blood? Pain? Will it turn out as good as I want it to? How painful will it be? Yeah. My mind runs in circles on this one. I know that it will be cool. I got a good vibe about the parlor I picked out as soon as I walked in the door. Plus the artists portfolio looked good too. Yeah. I tend to obssess a little.
Also:
“Antigone in New York” kicks out as of tomorrow night … which is cool. Time to put it to bed. We got reviewed in “The Guide,” a local events publication. The reviewer said that this show combined with last year’s performance in “Coyote on a Fence” was “proof of my staggering range.” Yep. That’s an actual quote. Heh. I wonder when Broadway or Hollywood will start calling. Heck, I’d even take both.

Chas, I can only dream of being as good at staggering as you are. XO
Is there pain? yes, but surprisingly, you’re aniticpation of it will be far more thatn the actual sensation; and very quickly you’ll sorta zone into the feeling, which is kinda cool – and which, for some people can be quite intoxicating, and why some folks keep going back for more.
blood? nope. but jsut be sure to follow the guy’s instructions on how to take care of it for the first few eeeks; it’s been awhile, but ya gottta lube it up or something daily, keeping it moist with the right brand of lotion or something. And of course, there’s the urinating. Make sure you piss on the tattoo daily, and take video of it. Most important step.
BJ, you just made me spray coffee out my nose. Please put me on the distribution list for Chas’ daily video. Thanks. 🙂
Chas, I’m excited for you. Hope it’s even cooler than you expect it to be. Also Break a leg, and congratulations on finishing the run.
