Twin Peaks: Season 2

Latest Rumor for Release Dates of Twin Peaks Season 2 in Europe Region 2
Leonard Krantz sends me an email today stating that Paramount will be releasing the Twin Peaks Season 2 DVD set split up into two box sets containing 4 discs each. The first to be released on September 22nd, 2005, and the second half on October 20th 2005. The set is supposed to contain new video transfers, 5.1 newly re-mastered audio, and extras to be announced. I’m looking into this rumor, but so far, it sounds pretty dead on. Eventually a US release will follow.

It does irritate me that Europe is getting this release first. It’s a definate. Why? I have no idea. I guess we “Twin Peaks” geeks should just be happy is gonna finally come out. After all, Season One has been out since December of 2001. Maybe we will get treated to a unedited release of the Pilot Episode at some point as well. One can dream …

Another Day

It’s been grey and dreary all day today. No rain yet, but it’s being called for. It goes along with my mood. I think I’m gonna have dinner and crawl into bed with the new Augusten Burroughs book.

Things To Look Forward To:
1. The arrival of the “Short Cuts” dvd.
2. The arrival of the Siouxsie and the Banshees “Downside Up” CD Box Set.
3. The arrival of the Pet Shop Boys “PopArt” dvd.
4. The framing of my original S. Livengood painting.

Ah, material goods. Can you tell I have been on a spending spree?
