Sleepless Night/Full Moon
Month: July 2006
One Week Later …
… and I still don’t have anything of real importance to say.
I had a dream last night where tornadoes and horrific storms destoyed most of the people I know and places I hang out at.
How fucked up is that?

Two Movies as Well
Busy-ish weekend with just enough down time to squeeze two movies in (Saturday/Sunday) which I needed to see. Evil brought me over a copy of “The Sopranos: The Complete Fourth Season” so I have been able to start catching up on what’s happening with the crew. I also worked on theater stuff, fixed printers, drank coffee and all that jazz.
Superman Returns:
I thought it was really good (though a little long for my taste). The cast and story keeps your attention even in the pointless/should-have-been-edited-out bits. Man-oh, man … I sure did dig those retro opening credits and Jimmy Olsen. Mmmmm.
Cars:
Pixar’s first missed opportunity. It’s good enough but probably goes on 20 minutes longer than it should have. The middle section of the movie seemed slow, slow, slow. And animated films shouldn’t seem slow.
Anyway, the week is gonna be busy what with the 4th of July, friends from out of town in town and “My Fair Lady” (hurray I am not in it) opening this Friday. Sheesh. Doesn’t seem like it should be July already. Does it? Just means that we are less than 30 days from auditions for “The Full Monty.” Get those red g-strings ready, fellas!
Weekend Excitement

I bought a new can opener.
