Franke’s completed tattoo is on the top of her foot. Ouch!

You can now see a another set of photos of the whole tattoo thing that happened last Friday. These were shot by Franke using my camera. Do I have enough pictures of the event? Maybe.

All-all-all it wasn’t so bad. Rob (the tat man) was really cool and laid back. Franke was there to watch the process (she gets hers on Saturday) and keep me calm. Christy was there to record the event. The whole thing only took about a half an hour once I was in the chair. And now everyone thinks I am a total nerd for doing the Apple logo. I don’t care ’cause I like it! I think I might have to go back for another tat at some point. Heh, heh. They say once you get the first one you’ll want another.

Saturday I went and placed a deposit and set up my tattoo appointment. Whoo. Still a little wigged out that I have decided to do this … but you only live once, right? The deed will be done next Saturday at 12:30 p.m. The folks at the parlor said there’s nothing to worry about re: pain and such. I think they are lying. Franke will be there to hold my hand and comfort me. Christy will be there to photo the event as well. Crazy! Plus, Franke is closing in on her design/artist/date.
