April is almost done. Thank Christ. I wouldn’t have expected it to be as utterly depressing as it has been. I got more upset about not getting cast in that show than I thought I would. And, I am having the worst time shaking thoughts that I am secondary (or even an afterthought) and that I can’t seem to do anything right. Ugh.<\/p>\n
Plus, it doesn’t help that it’s been gloomy and has rained every single day since Sunday. Hopefully the forecasters are right and will will finally get some sun tomorrow. I am soooooo ready for warmer temps and blue sky.<\/p>\n
“What else has been going on?” you might ask.<\/p>\n
– Had a nice lunch with the Retired Pilot.
\n– Dr. Phibes and Co. were in town for a quick visit. The beer and food flowed freely.
\n– Got a request for “more information” from the NC Dept. of Revenue. Yay, audit!
\n– Managed to only piss one person off this week.
\n– Won two eBay auctions. (Take away my PayPal account, please!)
\n– Did some freelance work.<\/p>\n
“What is going on this weekend?” you might ask.<\/p>\n
– Might go to the Noble Cider<\/strong><\/a> tasting at Blue Ridge Beer<\/strong><\/a> hub.
\n– Mowing the yard.
\n– Going with Mom and Kat to Bearwaters Brewing<\/strong><\/a> to hang out tomorrow night.
\n– Seeing The Diary of Anne Frank<\/strong><\/em><\/a> on Sunday (as well as having a nice lunch).
\n– Hopefully will finished up Season 2 of Jessica Jones<\/strong><\/em><\/a>.
\n– And … more freelance work. Shocker!<\/p>\n
