It’s official. When I drop into the Big Apple at the beginning of September, I will be seeing “Hairspray: The Musical” and the revival of “Gypsy.” I am not so sure about “Hairspray” because the John Waters film was so damn good. I really hope that Bernadette Peters is still in “Gypsy” when we see it. How gay is that? Plus, all the NYC blogger buzz about “Avenue Q” has me really, really interested in seeing it as well. Damn.
