Now broadcasting semi-alive from Louisville, KY!<\/p>\n

That probably sounds more exciting than it really is. I am here on a work trip. It’s been one of these whirlwind “drive up one day\/work a convention\/drive back the next day” treks. We are trying to drum up more business from Skyline Chili.<\/p>\n

The convention was a semi-successful\/semi-bust thing … and kinda exhausting after spending most of the day in the car and then rushing to get our little booth set up.<\/p>\n

Afterwards we had dinner at Buca di Beppo<\/a><\/strong> where I feel madly in lust with Thomas, our ruggedly handsome waiter with a slightly black eye. I wonder if he got that black eye from some thrilling bar fight or if it was the result of something silly and mundane.<\/p>\n

*Sigh*<\/p>\n

Besides that … it’s really flat here. It makes me wonder how people can stand the flat land. I need mountains.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
