There certainly have been some great horror films coming from France in the last several years &#8230; but I doubt that <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Frontiers_(film)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>&#8220;Fronti\u00e8re(s)&#8221;<\/strong><\/a> is gonna sway you towards France being &#8220;it&#8221; right now.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t get me wrong &#8230; &#8220;Fronti\u00e8re(s)&#8221; works well enough for a horror film. But it owes soooooooo much to the remake of &#8220;Texas Chainsaw Massacre&#8221; that I couldn&#8217;t help but make tons of comparisons while watching it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>*Spoilers Ahead*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Backwoods France<br \/>\n2. Creepy Family (this time with a hotel)<br \/>\n3. Cannibals!!!<br \/>\n4. Lone Female Left to Battle the Psychos<\/p>\n<p><strong>*End Spoilers*<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Fronti\u00e8re(s)&#8221; has some nice set pieces here and there and is very, very violent.
