\nPT and I went for a little walk on Saturday in the Black Balsam Wilderness<\/strong><\/a>. We crossed Black Balsam Knob (see above) and made our way to Tennent Mountain<\/strong><\/a> where we stopped for lunch. We hung out, chatted and watched some hawks. On the way back we took part of the Art Loeb Trail<\/strong><\/a> where I tried my best to step on a snake. Turned out it was just a garter snake<\/strong><\/a> … so it wasn’t anything to get too uppity about. I would have gotten a picture but he slithered away pretty quickly. The main thing that I did catch on the hike was a sunburn. So, I am gonna be a nice lobster pink when I travel to NYC later this week.<\/p>\n
