I mowed my yard. Yeah … it’s that time of year again. The weekly task that I hate, hate, hate so much will now be a constant until October. I will admit thought that it was nice to be out and about in the yard doing stuff. I have become way too lazy over the last year.<\/p>\n
The poor young Red Maple tree in the back yard does seem to be on it’s last legs. That severe freeze we had late last spring seems to have killed it. All the limbs are brittle and dead so I snapped a bunch of them off. There are a couple of places where you can see some new growth coming out of the trunk but they are woefully few. I am so stupid about plants and trees (having always had a black thumb in that department).<\/p>\n
I check the oil level for the furnace and was surprise to discover just how much I have left. Happiness is an insulated house.<\/p>\n
