If only it were.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah. I was gonna go on about how desperately I need a shag right now &#8230; but that&#8217;s probably the Irvine Welsh book talking.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing new really.<\/p>\n<p>I have a stack of books that I am slowly working my way through. I am almost finished with &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Bedroom_Secrets_of_the_Master_Chefs\"><strong>The Bedroom Secrets of the Master Chefs<\/strong><\/a>.&#8221; I have the first of the Southern Vampire Mysteries, &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Dead-Until-Southern-Vampire-Mysteries\/dp\/0441008534\"><strong>Dead Until Dark<\/strong><\/a>.&#8221; I am resisting the urge to buy &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rant_%28novel%29\"><strong>Rant<\/strong><\/a>,&#8221; the new Chuck Palahniuk novel &#8230; and, of course, &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Harry_Potter_and_the_Deathly_Hallows\"><strong>Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows<\/strong><\/a>&#8221; drops into stores next week.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Phibes and I are pumped up for this fall &#8230; &#8217;cause another Best Buy &#8220;Sci-Fi Collection&#8221; Exclusive will see &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Deadly_Mantis\"><strong>The Deadly Mantis<\/strong><\/a>&#8221; finally making its way to dvd. AND &#8230; MGM will be releasing a &#8220;<strong>Vincent Price: MGM Scream Legends Collection<\/strong>&#8221; (Volume One of Many? &#8230; Please, Oh, Please, Oh, Please!) on September 11th!!! I am sure that I will be talking\/linking more about both these sets as their release dates draw closer.<\/p>\n<p>Too much going on the rest of the week\/weekend to really be able to keep up with my dvd viewing &#8230; though I am really looking forward to seeing &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.criterion.com\/asp\/release.asp?id=384\"><strong>Vengeance is Mine<\/strong><\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That is all.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oooooooooh.
