I am becoming a firm believer that we need three day weekends instead of two day weekends. I think I would be willing to work four 10 hour days to have an extra day off.

Anyhoo. Yeah … the weekend went by waaaaaaaay too fast.

Friday Night:

I had rehearsal for “Art” which is now super close to opening (this Friday!). We have three more rehearsals before the preview on Thursday. Yikes!!! I can’t really complain though. We have had a pretty easy schedule thus far which has been super nice. We haven’t rehearsed the show to death which *should* give us a wee bit of an edge on opening night.

Saturday:

It was up and off to Hickory again ’cause that’s half-way between me and this fella that I am a wee smitten with. We had lunch (my treat). I spent some money. We kicked around Toys R Us. We kicked around the Valley Hills Mall. We went dutch and saw “Children of Men” (I really dug it). We had dinner (his treat). So, all in all, a really nice day. Golly … the next three weeks are gonna be sooooo long.

Sunday:

Business meeting, lunch, freelance work, dinner, a pretty sweet movie … and before you know it, it’s time for bed and the start of the work week.
