Yeah. Meant to post about the weekend yesterday … but yesterday was bad. Anxiety issues kept me distracted all damn day. It’s fun. So, I will distract you with what happened over the weekend.

Friday Night: Saturday: Sunday: Then anxiety issues kept me up part of the night and were smacking me around for most of the day yesterday. This has been going on since the 14th of November … so it might be time to go back to the Doc and get medicated again. That thought does not make me happy.

Yeah. Meant to post about the weekend yesterday … but yesterday was bad.
Left-over pizza and movies was what I was into Friday night. Finished watching “Bleak House” and cried quite a few times as the various story arcs came to a close. It ain’t called “Bleak House” for no reason. If you haven’t seen it, you really should. Great story and an excellent cast (loves me some Gillian Anderson!). Then I moved on the screw ball comedy and tried to watch “Monkey Business.” You can tell by “tried to watch it” that I didn’t really like it at all.

Treked off to the movies with Franke and we took in the giddy thrills of “Casino Royale,” the new James Bond film. Wow. I really liked it. Doesn’t hurt that Daniel Craig makes a very good bond (the best since early Connery) and is totally freakin’ gorgeous. I recommend. Afterwards we munched an early dinner. I then traveled to the groccery and liquor store and spent a good part of the evening making Mom’s special holiday egg nog. It’s very alcoholic … mmmmm … and should be perfection in about another week. Then it was movie time again. This go ’round was Takashi Miike’s “Visitor Q” which is a terrible and totally disturbing movie (and not the good John Waters kind of disturbing).

Slept in late and then had the fun of two parties. One was an Artist’s Open House for a friend’s mother. She’s a painter and I really like her stuff. The hand painting over my bed is one of her pieces. Then Michelle, Mary, Teresa and I travelled over to the Sylva area for the OITM Holiday Party which is always fun. We ate too much and chatted with many fab gay folks. When I got home, I watched the final movie of the weekend, Peter Weir’s “The Last Wave.” I really liked it but probably not as much as Weir’s “Picnic at Hanging Rock.”
