This past weekend was horrifyingly depressing for so many reasons … some of which you ain’t gonna hear about …. screw that “Back to Blogging ’06” shit.<\/p>\n
The River District Artist’s Studio Stroll was fun to a point. I wasn’t feeling 100% well on Saturday. We saw some nice art but it was all way too damned expensive. Art isn’t made for the poor person to afford it. I really wonder how some of those artists actually make money to keep their studio spaces with the price tags that we encountered. The art I like the best was some woman doing some cool digital art. The print (mind you … I just typed “print”) that I liked was $2950 framed. Sheesh.<\/p>\n
