Braved the snow and messiness last night and saw Aimee Mann at The Peel. She was all &#8220;acoustic&#8221; this time around &#8230; performing with just acoustic guitar, bass and piano\/keyboards. The show was a nice mix of songs from all her albums. The funniest part of the show was when she introduced &#8220;Save Me&#8221; (her song from &#8220;Magnolia&#8221; that was Oscar nominated) saying that she &#8220;can&#8217;t help but think of this song as the one that lost the Oscar to Phil Collins&#8217; cartoon monkey love song.&#8221;<br \/>\nAgain, she put on an excellent show.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yup.
