I went to a friend’s baby shower on Saturday and left feeling deeply disturbed. Granted, I can’t imagine Jeff being a father, but something else has been bugging me. Is it the fact that everyone else there has a significant other and I was a loner? Or, is it the fact that I can’t stand to see anyone else be happy and have good things happen to them? That night after a few beers (and some overcompensation) things seemed better. Now I am not so sure.
