It really is a shame that David Fincher didn’t participate in the “Alien Quadrilogy<\/strong><\/a>” dvd box set. It would have been so sweet to have his comments on the making of “Alien3<\/strong><\/a>.” I was watching his audio commentary on the new “Panic Room” Special Edition<\/strong><\/a> last night (after fixing the damn mailbox), and it’s really good. Fincher is always has interesting insights into the selection and direction of his films. His commentaries on the special editions of “Seven<\/strong><\/a>” and “Fight Club<\/strong><\/a>” are worth a listen as well. Maybe (at some point in the future) Criterion<\/strong><\/a> will get the rights back and be able to release their laser disc edition<\/strong><\/a> of “The Game<\/strong><\/a>” on dvd.
